Becky was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and immediately went to work at St. Jones Behavioral Health Center in Dover, DE before accepting her commission as a nurse in the United States Air Force.
While in the Air Force, Becky was stationed in the emergency department at Scott AFB and Elmendorf AFB. She also staffed the emergency department at Bagram, Afghanistan.
Becky has been with the clinic since its inception in 2011. While being an integral part of the primary care team in the clinic, Becky was at work pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing at UAA. Becky received her degree from UAA in April 2014 and is now providing behavioral health services for the patients of the Alaska Medicare Clinic as a Behavioral Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
When not working, Becky spends time with her family and dogs, enjoying camping, hiking, and traveling.
