Kathleen Case, MD
Dr. Case was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Dublin, Ireland. She attended medical school at Trinity College, Dublin graduating in 1990. She went onto to do an intern year and a year in pediatrics before moving back to the United States. Dr. Case completed her family practice residency at the University of North Dakota Family Practice Residency in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After practicing in Seattle for 3 years, Dr. Case came to Alaska in 1998. Dr. Case has worked in and enjoyed the Anchorage community since.
Aside from her passion for excellent hands on patient care, Dr. Case is an adjunct assistant professor for the WWAMI Biomedical Program, teaching Alaska’s future physicians. She is also a clinical assistant professor for the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Case has served as Department Chair in Family Practice for three years prior to serving as President of the Medical staff at Alaska Regional Hospital in 2007 and continues to be involved with hospital committees.
